Mrs. Mary Beth Cox Wolfe, age 81, of Ava, passed away Thursday evening around 5:00 pm, December 29, 2022 at her residence with her children by her side as well as her brother, Joe Cox.
She was born November 9, 1941, in Crosby County Texas, a daughter of the late Gilbert Monroe and Ethel Cox.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Richard Lyle Wolfe, and three brothers and one sister. Wesley Hoyt Cox, Lesley Cox, Roy Cox and Lulla Mae Cook.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed arts, crafts, gardening, yard sales and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Mary is survived by two sons and three daughters, Ricky Lee Gentry and wife Cynthia Gentry, Deryl Gentry and wife Chelsea Gentry, Connie Hawkins and husband Charlie Hawkins, Donna Gentry, and Cheryl Baker and husband Robbin Baker.
Mary is also survived by one brother and one sister, Earnest Joe Cox and Monnie Lorene Stanley.
Mary had seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Mothers are a gift from heaven God uses to demonstrate his love for all children.
No one will ever love you like God or a mother does,
But take solace in the fact that you’ll meet again someday.

Mary will be cremated and taken to Smoky Mountains with her husband in the spring. Cremation services are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Homes, Inc., Ava, Missouri.
