Jennifer Frances Marie Williams, 51, of Ozark passed from this life into eternal life on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 9:20 a.m. at her home in Ozark, Missouri.
Jennifer was born on June 7, 1971, in Springfield, Missouri at Cox North Hospital, the daughter of Don and Lou (Aid) Williams.
Growing up Jennifer was friends to everyone, she would bring animals and strangers to the house like they were best friends. She was always hanging out with her brother and cousins on her grandparents’ farm and just enjoyed the simple life.
Jennifer graduated from Ava High in 1989. Once she graduated high school, she went to the Southwest School of Broadcasting and eventually ended up at Missouri State University where she got her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Masters degree in International Business.
With her degrees, she had several different career paths that she enjoyed. She was a disc jockey at several radio stations, but most notably a ranch hand at KTTS. Everyone there knew her as Jenna West, she used that name to honor her Grandparents West. She worked as a neurology nurse at Cox South, a nurse at Heart of the Ozarks, and plant nurse at Copeland. After being a nurse for a while she ended up working for the state of Missouri as a state surveyor over nursing homes. Before her passing she worked for a company called LCS as a mock surveyor checking the corporate nursing homes and keeping them in compliance while traveling all over the United States for several years.
Jennifer loved to travel and would talk about it often. She would always put up posts about the next adventure she would be going on with her children, Kalila Bayer and Rachael Lamb; along with her grandchildren Aiden, Dominic, Adam, and Aydreanna. She loved going on Disney trips with them, took Kalila to Hawaii and Rachael to New York for some mother daughter time. Her family was her life and what made her happy throughout the years. She was always laughing and had great stories to tell. She loved to bake with the grandchildren especially for special occasions. Road trips with the family where you would hear bickering, laughter, and stories along the way. Jennifer was always so loved and brightened up the room with her smile everywhere she went. She made people feel cared about and showed them how important they were with her undivided attention to each person she would talk to. Jennifer was a thirty year member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Ava.
