Nolan Dale Johnson

Nolan “Dale” Johnson was born May 1, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, MO and changed his address to Heaven on June 22, 2022, at 11:24 PM. He was the son of Bill Johnson and Evelyn Terry Johnson both of Alton Missouri. Dale grew up in Alton graduating from Alton High School in 1961. After graduation, Dale married his high school sweetheart Kay Judd on October 15, 1961, and joined the US Navy where he was stationed in Key West Florida until completing his service in 1966.

From that loving marriage, Dale and Kay had two children, Tina and Bruce. Dale enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son, grandsons and great grandson. He was a wonderful teacher of guns, fly fishing and bow hunting. Along with loving his family and the outdoors, Dale loved his personal Savior Jesus Christ and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church of Rover, MO.

Dale is survived by his wife Kay at their home, daughter Tina Johnson of Kansas City, Missouri, Bruce Johnson and wife, Sandra of Nixa Missouri along with eight grandchildren, Cody Gray and wife Lexi of Smithville Missouri, Clay Gray and wife Heather of Abilene, Texas, Brock Johnson and wife Jade of Springfield, Missouri , Brody and Bryce Johnson of Springfield Missouri , Kenzie Sydney and Joey all of Nixa Missouri, His brother David Johnson and wife Nancy of Springfield Missouri as well as six great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dana Johnson.
