Noma Ann Kruse

Noma Ann Kruse, 85, of Springfield, MO formerly of Gainesville, passed away September 2, 2024 at the Gainesville Healthcare Center. She was born February 7, 1939 in Gainesville to Clarence “C.H.” and Annie (Hannaford) Cockrum.

Ann graduated from Wichita North High School in Wichita, KS with the class of 1957. On December 27, 1958 she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Kruse in Wichita. She lived in many places throughout her life, but she always considered Gainesville her home. She loved to read, be with friends, and spend time at home with her dogs. She didn’t get the opportunity to travel as much as she would have liked but she soaked up every adventure that came her way. Above all else, Ann loved her family big! From her children, grandchildren, or nieces and nephews, Ann’s family was everything to her. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all.

 

She is survived by two daughters Stephanie Chamberlain and husband Mark of Springfield, MO, Denise Dick and husband Mike of Nixa, MO; five grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; one brother Bill Cockrum and wife Lana of Gainesville, MO; one sister-in-law Mary Jean Kruse of Franklin, TN; and many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Kruse; and four siblings Norma Pace Luna, Doyle Cockrum, A.D. Cockrum and Tommy Cockrum.

 

A memorial service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home chapel, Gainesville, MO.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lilly Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
