Norma Wagner was born October 31, 1926, in Willow Springs, to Virgil and Nina (Walls) Coatney. She passed away Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Ozarks Healthcare after a short illness.
She married Willard Wagner, Sr. on November 16, 1943, in Cabool, Missouri. To this union a son was born, Willard Wagner, Jr. Norma was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Willow Springs, Missouri.
Norma is survived by her son, Willard, and wife, Joanne of Willow Springs, MO; her granddaughter, Bailey Wagner, and husband, Greg Moore of Summersville, MO; her sister, Velma Collins of Prescott Valley, AZ; one niece; four nephews; and cousins and friends.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Willard; her parents, Virgil and Nina Coatney; her brother Boyd Coatney and wife, Pauline; and her brother-in-law, Eddie Collins.
Norma was one of the first employees of Rawlings in Willow Springs. She worked alongside her husband as a secretary for Strout Realty, Inc. for many years.
Norma’s favorite hobby was creating beautiful hand-made quilts for her family. She enjoyed watching her granddaughter in local horse shows and watching her play sports. Her family was her proudest achievement. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Bro. David Carroll officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 9-10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, Pomona, Missouri.
