Patrick Lee Gutscher was born on March 25, 1952, and went to his eternal home on May 23, 2023, at the age of 71 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Gutscher, and a brother, Keith Gutscher.
Patrick leaves to mourn his passing, son, Nik (Kelly) Gutscher of Overland Park, KS; his mother, Elsie Gutscher of Mountain View, MO; brother, Mike (Judy) Gutscher of St. Louis, MO; two sisters, Debbie Schulz and Karen Gutscher both of Mountain View; two grandsons; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He gave his heart to the Lord as a teenager and was a member of Little Zion Church. Patrick spent seven years in the Army and came home to own and operate the Mountain View Drive-In. After having the drive-in, he worked in Springfield until his disability, which was due to a heart attack, and then he retired. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Medley officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will be in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mountain View.
