Patrica Ann Sprague, age 82, passed away on January 3, 2022, at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, Mountain View, Missouri. She was born to Wayne and Laura (Rhyheartin) Gess on November 1, 1939, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Patti married Harry Richard “Dick” Sprague on March 20, 1959, at First Methodist, Louisville, Nebraska. To this union two sons were born, Adam and Perry.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Laura Gess.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Dick; two sons, Adam Sprague of Rockport, TX and Perry Sprague and wife, Stacey of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, Aarron Sprague of Kyle, TX, Traci Fipps and husband, Mike of Krum, TX, Dr. Brianna Selleck and husband, Matt of Grand Rapids, MN, and Dillon Sprague of Auburn, AL; and four great-grandchildren, Alexis Fipps, Cooper Fipps, Audrey Selleck, and Milo Selleck.
Patti was a beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She worked as a clerk typist for many years at several insurance companies. Since 2008, she was also an excellent and valued key member of the Mountain View Garden Club. Patti was a great cook and planned her menu and meals ahead of time. She loved life and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Eric Tripp officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Mountain View Garden Club.
