Paul Ray Richmond, 76-year-old resident of Bowling Green, KY, departed this life Friday, February 9, 2024, at Medical Center of Bowling Green. He was born December 25, 1947, in Steele, MO, to the late Earl and Marie (Seigler) Richmond.
Paul had retired from General Motors. He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and had earned the National Defense Service Medal and Vietnam Service Medal with two stars. Paul enjoyed working on classic cars with his son and grandson. He also liked to fish, hunt and golf. Paul was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving is his son, Terry (Elizabeth) Richmond of Brownsville, KY; sisters, Mary Porter, Gail Richmond, Margaret Bradford, and Shirley Richmond (Craig Behlke); and brothers, William (Barbara) Richmond, Robert (Dorothy) Richmond, Wayne (Rose) Richmond, Floyd (Mary) Richmond, and Jerry Richmond. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Paige (Jessie) Hays, Decoteau (Paige) Richmond, and Elise Richmond; and great-grandchildren, Coteau, Luna, and Skyler.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Smith, and brother, Tommy Richmond.
Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Doniphan, MO, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, beginning at 2:00 p.m., also at Edwards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Stephens Cemetery.
