Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother; her love for her family was tremendous and she adored her grandchildren. She always made time to play games with her grandkids and cooked their favorite foods. Her love for them was a shining light in their lives, and her memory will forever be cherished in their hearts. Judy’s life was a testament to her faith in God and the love for her family. She accepted Christ as her Savior as a teenager and was a devout Christian who spent much of her life creating a loving home. Judy wrote in her memoir to her grandchildren that she never regretted staying home with her children because she was able to teach them to cook, sew and together as a family learned about farming and milking. She writes in her memoir of what a blessing the grandchildren were. She refers to each of them as a “snowflake- all beautiful but different”. Judy had a strong commitment to the Lord. In addition to raising her children to learn to love the Lord, she also served in her church as a Sunday School Teacher, youth leader, Christmas play director and any other role she could fill to plant seeds and help children to come to know the Lord as their Savior. Many children remember her as “Ms. Judy.”
Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Keith; her children, Sherry Mohler and husband, Michael, Edwina Carnal and husband, Daren and Jeff Swisher and wife, Karla; grandchildren, Samantha Mohler and Mackenzie King and husband, William, Casey Carnal and Curtis Carnal and wife, Amanda and Emily and Kirstie Swisher; great grandson, Archer; two brothers, Roy Gene and Larry; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.
