Raymond E. Daniels

Raymond Daniels, a resident of Willow Springs, passed away at Ozarks Healthcare Sunday, December 10, 2023. Raymond was born April 7, 1939, to Minor and Olga (Gimpel) Daniels in Randolph, Kansas and was 84 years old.

After attending Sim’s Valley School, Raymond worked on the family farm before joining the United States Army on February 14, 1962. After his military service he found work at Bacon Tire. On July 21, 1967, he married Carolyn Rae Turner. He later worked for Rawlings in Willow Springs. He then went to work for the City of Willow Springs as a mechanic for 30 years before retiring. In his free time, he enjoyed refurbishing and flipping vehicles, but his favorite activity was traveling the country with his wife, Carolyn. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Minor and Olga; his brother, Floyd; his brother, Donald Dale; and his sister, Blanche.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn; his brother, Dean and wife, Beverly; his nephew, Scott and wife, Annette; his nephew, Kevin and wife, Tiffany; his nephew, Matt and wife, Brooke; his nephew, John and wife, Jessi; his nephew, Kerry; his nephew, Alan; his nephew, Devon and wife, Kim; his sister-in-law, Connie Fann; and he is further survived by numerous loved great nephews and nieces.

A visitation for Raymond will be held at Willow Funeral Home, LLC. on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside funeral service with military honors for Raymond will be held at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery on Friday, December 15, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Scott Williamson officiating.
