Reva Jean Lanning (nee Bailey) was born May 23, 1926, at Eunice, MO and died February 9, 2025, at Florissant, MO.
Reva was the daughter and twelfth child of the late James N. Bailey and Mary Lavina (Brown) Bailey.
Reva was the dearest mother of son, Terry L. (Linda) Lanning of Florissant, MO and daughter, Pamela R. Lanning of St. Louis, MO; dearest grandmother of Susan Lanning of Greenville, TX, Diane (Dwight) Meyr of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Karen (Andrew) Lay of Florissant, MO; and dearest great grandmother of Noah and Briley Meyr.
Reva was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Edna Williams, Myrtle Cornelison, Blanche Barnes, Maxine (Halstead) Gregory, Lorene Halstead, Loretha Hubbs, and Pauline Bailey; and brothers, Walter Bailey, Chester Bailey, Lester Bailey, Carmie Bailey, and Everett Bailey.
Reva was a very family oriented person. She retired from Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home after eleven years of employment. She gave the elderly residents a lot of loving care, with compassion and patience.
