Richard Stoecker, 73 years, and10 days old, passed away on , July 26, 2023 at his home in Sparta, Missouri .
Richard was born in St. Louis, Missouri to William and Mary (Gaunt) Stoecker. He was one of three children.
On March 30, 1979, Richard and Shirley Gott were united in marriage in Columbia, Missouri.
Richard was a writer and musician. His writing was enjoyed b yreaders of local and international newspapers. Richard enjoyed music, playing drums, saxophone, and flute for audiences for many years. Richard especially loved his pet cats.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; his wife, Shirley; and his brother, Robert Stoecker.
Richard is survived by his brother, Van Stoecker of Rolla, Missouri.
Private services for Richard are being conducted by Clinkingbeard Funeral Home in Ava, Missouri. Burial will be in the Union Grove cemetery.
