Teresa Shawn Maggard – Roberts, 51 years, 1 month, 4 days old, passed away on July 27, 2023 at Cox South Medical Center in Springfield, MO with Daniel by her side.
Teresa was born June 23, 1972 in Springfield, Missouri to Otto and Betty Maggard.
On July 22, 1995, she and Tod Roberts, Sr were married and together they were blessed with two children, Tod Jr. andTeia.
Teresa was a CNA and worked for Integrity In Home Health. Teresa liked to go fishing and enjoyed going to Branson and visiting the zoo. She held a special place in her heart for Vera Cruz Church where she was saved and baptized as a girl. She later attended Mt. Olive Church .
Her family was very special to her and she dearly loved her children and grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patsy Lou Trimble.
Teresa is survived by her children, Tod Roberts, Jr. and his wife Savanah, and Teia Roberts; a grandson, Tyler McDaniel; siblings, Linda Liniger, Larry and Wanda Faye Maggard, Jerry and Neva Maggard, Janice and Tom Rhoads, Wanda Holt, and Daniel Schmitt; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Teresa will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Mt. Olive Church in Oldfield, Missouri with burial following in the Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be at 9:00 until service time. Officiating will be Pastor Larry Winfree. Memorials may be made to Hall Cemetery.
