Roy Eugene Hilderbrand, Sr., was born January 24, 1950, in Sparta, IL, and passed away November 19, 2022, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Hospital.
Survivors include: 3 children, Roy Hilderbrand, Jr., of Gatewood, MO, Amanda Hilderbrand of Gatewood, MO, and Robert Hilderbrand of Thayer, MO; 6 grandchildren, Heaven Horton, Kaicey Hilderbrand, Landon Hilderbrand, Joclyn Hilderbrand, Remington Hilderbrand, Colton Hilderbrand; 1 brother, Bob Hilderbrand of Texas; 1 sister, Maryland Richards of Illinois; and numerous other relatives and friends.
He is preceded by: his parents, Robert Hilderbrand, Sr. and Flossie (Wise) Hilderbrand; 1 grandchild, Angel Benson; 1 brother, Bill Hilderbrand; 1 nephew, Todd Hilderbrand.
Funeral services will be 2pm Friday, December 2, 2022, at the Liberty Baptist Church in Gatewood, MO, with Bro. Richard Robinson officiating, and burial following in the Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
