Sherman Dale Conder, 59, of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026, in Salem, Arkansas. Sherman was born on October 20, 1966, in Escondido, California, to Dale Eugene Conder and Nell Ruth (Davis) Conder.
On February 3, 2006, he married Charlotte Larue Haynes in Kaufman, Texas. Together they shared a loving marriage built on devotion, friendship, and a deep commitment to family.
Sherman worked as an elevator mechanic with IUEC Local #21 of Dallas, Texas, and the Schindler Company for 25 years. He was respected for his strong work ethic, dedication to his craft, and the pride he took in a job well done.
A ham radio operator, Sherman never met a stranger. His outgoing personality, friendly smile, and willingness to lend a helping hand made him a friend to many. He loved traveling and spending time outdoors, especially kayaking, hunting, and fishing. Whether on the water, in the woods, or spending time with those he loved most, Sherman appreciated life’s simple blessings.
Above all else, family was the center of his world. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather whose love and support touched everyone around him.
Those who knew him will remember his loyal friendship, gentle guidance, kind heart, and wonderful sense of humor. He was truly a wonderful man whose presence brought comfort and joy to the lives of many.
He is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte Conder of Mammoth Spring, Arkansas; his daughters, Tabitha Sisemore (Jeremy) of Vinita, Oklahoma, Deanna Jason (Johnny) of Salem, Arkansas, and Kristina Richardson; of Padre Island, Texas; his father, Dale Conder of Kemp, Texas; his mother, Nell Isreal (Earl); of Sherman, Texas; brother, Wayne Cicio (Teresa) of Garland, Texas; his sisters, Tamora “Tammy” Lindsey of Howe, Texas and Earlene Harlan of Phoenix, Arizona; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Isreal; his beloved granddaughter, Norah Sisemore; grandfather, uncle, aunts, niece, father-in-law, mother-in-law, and his brother-in-law, Eddie Haynes.
Though his passing leaves a tremendous void, the memories he created and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of kindness, compassion, dependability, and devotion to family will never be forgotten.
