Tammie Jo Hanger

Tammie Jo Hanger was born September 7, 1969, in Mountain View, Missouri to Sam and Jo Ann (Cowen) Crider and died at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri on February 23, 2021, at the age of 51.

She was born and raised in Eminence, Missouri, where she attended and graduated from Eminence High School. After high school she worked at Byrne Enterprises, then later was employed by Angelica Uniform.

In 2007, Tammie and her two brothers purchased Crider Brothers Lime Company.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Maxine Woodman.

Tammie is survived by her parents Sam and Jo Ann Crider; two daughters, Sammie Jo Wood and husband, Nicolas; Katie Jane Cooper; two brothers, Wayne Crider and wife, Lisa; Lenny Crider and wife, Tracy; two grandchildren, Liam and Reed Wood all of Eminence, MO; and many loved nieces and nephews.

She loved to read and spend time with family especially her grandchildren. She was everything to her daughters and though she was overprotective in certain aspects, they wouldn’t have traded her for the world.

Over the past year, Tammie rededicated her life back to Jesus. She attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Eminence, Missouri, where she enjoyed helping with the praise and worship team and loved serving the Lord.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Eminence, Missouri, with James Bolin officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11:00 p.m. prior to the service also at the chapel.
