Terry Lynn Watson

Terry L. Watson, a resident of Twin Bridges, MO passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, MO. He was born August 17, 1952, in Willow Springs, MO to Robert Lee and Elizabeth Ann (Parker) Watson and was 70 years old.

Terry graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1970. He briefly found work with his father at the family-owned Shell gas station. On April 8, 1972, he married the love of his life, Sandy S. Clinton. Shortly after marrying Sandy, he enlisted in the United States Army and worked as a tank driver until 1975. After returning home, he found work as a diesel mechanic at several different shops from Sullivan, MO to Springdale, AR before opening his own shop known as Watson’s Diesel. In his free time, Terry enjoyed going to the casino, taking care of his yard, gardening, visiting with friends and family, watching westerns (especially Gunsmoke) and comedies, and spending time with his grandkids. Terry’s family loved him dearly and will never forget his strength and undying love for his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elizabeth; his brother, Jack Watson; his sisters, Betty Jean Warden, Barbara Vaughn, Linda Watson, and Mary Jo Watson.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandy Watson; his daughter, Tracy Coambes and husband, Jeff; his daughter, Brandi Thomas and husband, Brian; his son, Kris Watson; his sister, Roberta Young and husband, Don; his sister, Caroline Watson-Hirsch; his sister, Shirley Myres; his sister, Pat Barton; his grandchildren, Kindell Dickens and husband, Luke, Kayden Coambes, Brynn Watson, Lexi Thomas, Maddi Watson, and Tristan Thomas. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Monday, August 7, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at the Willow Funeral Home, LLC. with Pastor Stasey Sheppard officiating.
