Thomas James Webb

Thomas James “TJ” Webb, 76 of Willow Springs was born on Aug. 8, 1947 in Duncan, OK the son of James and Ruby (James) Webb. “Tom” as his brothers and sister called him was the eldest of five children. TJ passed peacefully at his home on Oct. 21 with his best friend by his side after battling cancer.
TJ attended school in Loco, OK; as a young adult he worked as a mechanic with his uncle in Cordell, OK. He was then drafted into the Army and served our country, he was a very humble veteran. After receiving his discharge he moved to Texas.
TJ came to Missouri and fell in love. He said he had never seen such beautiful trees and clear water anywhere else in his life. He raised, bred and sold registered boxers and for years you rarely saw him without one of his dogs. He became a trader of all things; he spent over 30 years at the Cabool Flea Market buying, selling, trading, teaching and friending.
TJ was preceded in death by his father, James and his beloved mother, Ruby. He is survived by his brothers, Joe (Beth) Webb of Skiatook, OK, Larry Webb of Gainesville, TX and Chris Webb of Guthrie, OK; his sister, Tammera Peppin of Grapevine, TX; his two adored daughters, Kristi (Scott) Sides of Velma, OK and Robin Webb Wilson (Bobby Joe White) of Moore, OK; four grandchildren, Jeramie (Rebecca) Sides, Zachary Sides, Ashleigh Hollis and Kaleb Wilson; 12 great grandchildren, Zebulan, Anna, Evelyn, Charlotte, Susanna, Hanna and Banner Sides and Denton, Brynleigh, Mila, Alora and Roman Trujillo all of Oklahoma. TJ treated everyone like family and tried to help anyone he could. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
