Veral Heath Davis blessed this world and his parents, Eddie and Judy Davis with his birth on July 26, 1977, at St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Missouri. Angels and his loving family surrounded him as he passed away from this life on August 31, 2024, at the age of 47.
Right out of high school, Heath joined the U.S. Marines. He then met and married the love of his life, Jackie, on May 10, 1997, in Birch Tree, Missouri. They were married for 27 beautiful years and blessed with two wonderful children, Kaleb Heath Davis and Lydia Marie Davis.
Heath spent 8 years in the active Reserves as a 0351 Anti-Tank/demolition man. He earned his title of expert marksman and Corporal before his honorable discharge in 2003. During this time, Heath worked alongside his father, uncle, and brothers in the family construction business. He also spent 6 years working for the Street Department of the City of Mountain View. During the last 10 years of his life, he worked as a Union Wind and Solar heavy equipment operator and foreman.
Heath had many passions in life, at the very top of his list was the love for his family and wanting to be the absolute best husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He took pride in wanting to teach others what he knew and loved. The willingness to help others, whatever it was, was endless. He never met a stranger and always tried to make anyone feel welcome. He was also the mirror image of his father, Eddie, and was extremely proud of that fact.
Heath loved the outdoors, and hunting was in his blood, which his father taught him. He loved to hunt with his family the most because he loved to watch them get excited about a big buck, doe, or turkey. It did not matter if they brought anything home, it was all about the quality of time spent together.
