He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Cora; brothers, Bennie Cheatum and Tony Cheatum; sisters, Evelyn Joyce, Norma Jean, Georgia Ann and Georgia Nell.
Willie leaves behind to lament his passing and celebrate his homegoing; wife, Lena Cheatum; significant other, Sandra Jean Cutting; stepchildren, Adrian Monroe, Christiana and Alari; a host of grandchildren; siblings, Cora (Rudoloh) Burns, Frances Traylor, Melvin Cheatum, Marcell (Martha) Cheatum and Edward (Alisa) Cheatum; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Willie enjoyed church, fishing, old cars and driving the open highway in his big semi-diesel. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri with Bro. Bill Miller officiating under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
