Wilma Juanita Beckman

Wilma Juanita (Watson) Beckman daughter of the late Lloyd Collins and Ernestine Watson was born November 22, 1935, in Willow Springs, Missouri. She departed this life on September 19, 2024, in her home in Willow Springs, Missouri, at the age of 88 years 9 months and 27 days.

Wilma was united in marriage to John Beckman on September 29, 1955, in Paragould, Arkansas. To this union, two children were born. She worked on the farm for part of her life and spent many years as a caregiver. She loved to play her gospel music any chance she got. She was a true Christian who loved the Lord and worked through him. She was always eager to give a helping hand whether it be her church, family, friends, or anyone she met. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Wilma leaves to mourn her passing a son, John Beckman, Jr. of Miami, OK; a daughter, Sharon Cargill of Salem, AR; grandchildren, Johnny Beckman (Jamie), Jason Beckman (Christina), Michael Beckman (Jackie), Brad Cargill (Dana), Chassidy Boyd (Daniel), Kristy Tate (Rusty), Lori Winkle (Andy), and Lacie Flores (James); great-grandchildren, Matthew Beckman (Brianna), Katie Beckman, June and Andrew Beckman, Mayra, Jack, and Sam Cargill, Alicia Weaver, Triton Tate (Graci), Dylan and Audrey Winkle, and Atalie Ball; great-great-grandchildren, Annie Langston, Bishop Gillihan, and Huntley Tate; and a host of relatives and friends.

Wilma was preceded in death by her late husband, John Charles Beckman; brother, Bobby Watson; daughters-in-law, Pam Beckman and Flora Beckman; and great-grandson, Andrew Weaver.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, with the family officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00-1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Willow Springs City Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri.
