Kaylynn Newberry is a senior at West Plains High School. Kaylynn is well known as the current FFA Chapter President and Area Historian. She is also the former Chapter Secretary, has competed in several FFA contests and public speaking events, advancing to the state level twice. Kaylynn is also part of the National Honors Society, FCCLA, and Concert Choir.
Kaylynn is very active in the community. Working on the family farm after school and weekends, she is also employed at Newberry Sales. She has volunteered many hours helping with blood drives, petting zoos, trash clean-up, and teaching students about agriculture among others. Kaylynn has also been part of her Church Youth Group, played volleyball her freshman year, a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club for her freshman and sophomore years as well.
Kaylynn will attend Missouri State University -West Plains for two years, earning an associate degree. She then plans to pursue a bachelor degree in agricultural education at Arkansas State University – Jonesboro.
