In search of a much-needed win, the Willow Springs Bears were back at home, taking on a very good Van Buren Bulldog team on Tuesday night. The Bears came out strong and would lead 20-12 at the end of the first quarter.
For the rest of the half, the Bears and Bulldogs would both get hot on the offensive side of the ball, and at the half, the Bears led by a score of 37-29. In the second half, the Bears would pull away and get a much needed and impressive win.
