The Willow Springs Bears traveled to face the Licking Wildcats. The first and second quarters played out very similar to each other. The first quarter saw the Wildcats take a 8-0 lead to start the game. The Bears then clawed their way back and took a 16-13 lead by the end of the first quarter. The second quarter started the same way, with the Wildcats overcoming the deficit and taking a lead for a time. Willow Springs responded again, late in the second quarter. The Bears led the Wildcats 30-24 at half.
The Bears struggled to find a rhythm in the third quarter, while the Wildcats were very efficent with their shooting and ball control. The Wildcats outscored the Bears 18-7 in the quarter and took a 44-37 lead after three quarters. Willow Springs attempted to overcome their third quarter struggles but, came up just short. The Bears fall to the Wildcats, 63-51. Willow Springs is now (6-7) on the season. The Bears will be back at home on Friday to face the Hartville Eagles.
