The Willow Springs Bears were back in action Friday night, after winning the Mansfield Invitational Tournament. They traveled to Alton to take on Comets at home, hoping to continue their winning streak.
Both teams came prepared, but it was the Comets leading 11-10 after the 1st quarter, and a slim 28-24 lead at the half. But it was the Willow Springs Bears who came away with the hard fought win.
