The West Plains Zizzers played against the Ozark Tigers in the Blue & Gold Basketball Tournament on December 26, 2019.
The game was off to a quick lead for the Tigers who scored five points before the Zizzers answered those and more to end the first quarter leading 16 to 11. The second quarter was a great run by both teams with Ozark tying the game at 16 but West Plains was barely able to hold the lead to end the half ahead by one, the score 28-27.
The second half was dominated by the Ozark Tigers. The third quarter had the Zizzers trailing by five points, 35-41. The Tigers pounced on the Zizzers lack of energy and ended the game with a 13 point lead over West Plains.
Again, the West Plains Zizzers lose to the Ozark Tigers, 65 to 52. The Zizzers play again on December 27th at 8pm in the Consolation bracket against the Spokane Owls. The game will be broadcast live on Today’s Hot New Country, KKDY 102.5.
