Blue Jays 3, Cardinals 2

The St. Louis Cardinals are on a three-game losing streak following a 3-2 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre. The game was tied at two heading into the bottom of the eighth before Nathan Lukes hit a go-ahead double for the Jays. Andrew Kittredge was charged with his fifth loss in relief, while Lars Nootbaar homered in the losing effort. St. Louis is now seven games out of the final NL Wild Card spot at 74-and-75. Andre Pallante starts for the Cardinals against Pittsburgh tonight.
