Since 2017 when the St. Louis Blues and Missouri Youth Hockey Division first collaborated to grow the Youth Hockey State Championships, the Blue Note Cup has been a marquee event for young athletes around the area.
This year, the Blue Note Cup Championships will be held from March 5-6 at Centene Community Ice Center. The championships will feature games all day between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m.
And just like the Stanley Cup, each winning team will be able to take a real trophy home – with each player getting their time with it to celebrate their championship.
Four all-girls teams qualified for championship games this weekend, as well as three teams from Northwest Arkansas.
The Blues and Blues for Kids continue to work hard to grow the game of hockey and increase its accessibility to young athletes eager to lace up the skates.
The Blues continue to partner with First Community Credit Union on its youth hockey initiatives, with the Blue Note Cup serving as a headlining event to celebrate young players from all over.
While taking in the hockey action, fans can experience a lively atmosphere with Blue Crew, Bally Sports Midwest coverage and an STL Authentics Team Store setup at Centene Community Ice Center.
