Caleb Grill Earns Invite to 3-Point Championship

One of the nation’s top 3-point shooters in Caleb Grill is set to represent University of Missouri men’s basketball on the national stage, earning an invite to the E*TRADE Men’s 3-Point Championship.

Grill is one of eight players invited to participate in the 3-point championship at the 36th annual State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships. The contest is slated for Thursday, April 3 at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio and will be televised live on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT.

 

One of the top shooters from beyond the arc in his final collegiate season, Grill finished the 2024-25 campaign ranked third in the SEC and 45th nationally with a clip of 39.6 percent, while also placing fifth in the conference and 78th nationally with 2.69 triples per game.

 

Named the 2024-25 SEC Sixth Man of the Year, Grill ranked second on Mizzou with a career-best 13.7 points per game this season, while also adding 3.6 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.1 assists per game.

 

A complete roster of participants in the 2025 State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships will be released in the days leading up to the event. The winner of the men’s championship will also face off against the women’s winner in the Skechers Battle of the Champions Thursday night. Grill helped lead the Tigers to 22 wins during the 2024-25 season as Mizzou finished sixth in a SEC that sent a record 14 teams to the NCAA Tournament.
