The Cardinals shutout the Reds in the series finale of their four-game set. St. Louis downed Cincinnati 2-0 at Busch Stadium. Alec Burleson and Masyn Winn each drove in a run to help the Cards split the series. Lance Lynn earned his fourth win after striking out six through six scoreless innings. Ryan Helsley notched his MLB-leading 30th save. The Cardinals have won three of five and sit second in the NL Central at 43-and-40. St. Louis visits Pittsburgh tomorrow night.
