The Royals capped off their four-game series against the Guardians with a win. Kansas City beat Cleveland 6-2 at Kauffman Stadium. Salvador Perez hit his 14th homer of the year and finished with a team-high three RBIs. Starting pitcher Seth Lugo earned the win and moved to 11-and-2 after striking out 10 through six scoreless innings. The Royals have won four of their last five games and sit third in the AL Central at 47-and-39. They remain home to host the Tampa Bay Rays tomorrow night. Right-hander Brady Singer will start opposite Tampa Bay righty Zack Littell.
