Cardinals 4, Pirates 2

The Cardinals slipped past the Pirates 4-2 to even their three-game set from St. Louis. Sonny Gray gave up just one run and struck out nine batters over seven innings to earn the win. Nolan Arenado went three-for-four with an RBI and Ivan Herrera also recorded three hits. Ryan Helsley notched his 22nd save of the season as the Cards improved to 32-and-34.
