Cardinals 6, Phillies 5

Jordan Walker came through in the clutch as the Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Phillies 6-5 at Busch Stadium. Walker hit a go-ahead solo home run in the bottom of the eighth to put St. Louis up for good. Paul Goldschmidt added a home run and three RBI in the victory. John King earned his second win out of the pen., while Ryan Helsley picked up his 11th save. The Cardinals avoided being swept with the victory, but they’re in last place in the NL Central at 66-and-83. Adam Wainwright goes for his 200th career win when he starts against the Brewers tonight.
