The Cardinals brought four runs across during the bottom of the seventh inning to beat the Oakland A’s 7-5 at Busch Stadium. The A’s had scored three times in the top half of the inning to take a brief two-run lead. However, Lars Nootbaar drew a bases-loaded walk before Jordan Walker cleared the bases with a three-run triple to put the Cardinals back on top. Paul Goldschmidt added a home run in the victory, and JoJo Romero earned his third win in relief. The Cards have won four of five.
