Cardinals 7, Cubs 5

The Cardinals rallied to beat the Cubs 7-5 in their series finale from London. The team trailed 4-0 in the first inning after Matthew Liberatore gave up four unearned runs. After the Cards scored three times in the following inning, Anthony Walker laced an RBI single to tie the game in the third. Paul Goldschmidt’s single in the fourth drove in the go-ahead run as St. Louis cruised to victory. The Cardinals improved to 32-and-45, but they remain in last place in the NL Central. St. Louis will be back stateside in time for a series against the Astros tomorrow.
