The Royals dropped their series finale to the Rays. Kansas City lost to Tampa Bay 3-1 at Tropicana Field to split the four-game set. Taylor Clarke was charged the loss after allowing two earned runs in one inning of relief for Kansas City. Maikel Garcia drove in the Royals’ lone run as they fell to 22-and-56. The Royals return home to host the Cleveland Guardians tomorrow night. Right-hander Brady Singer is slated to take the hill for the series opener.
