Paul Goldschmidt homered in his first two at-bats of the day to lead the St. Louis Cardinals to an 8-5 win over the Reds in Cincinnati. Goldschmidt finished the day 2-for-4 with two RBI and a pair of runs scored. Tommy Edman totaled a team-high three RBI to help St. Louis improve to 22-and-28. Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright earned his second win of the season while Ryan Helsley notched his sixth save.
