The Royals put an end to their four-game losing skid with a 4-1 takedown of the Detroit Tigers at Kauffman Stadium. Maikel Garcia, Michael Massey, Edward Olivares and Salvador Perez each recorded an RBI in the win. Kansas City reliever Jose Cuas earned the win after throwing one-and-a-third scoreless innings, while Aroldis Chapman notched his second save of the season. The Royals remain in last-place of the AL Central at 15-and-35.
