The Cardinals are going to be without one of their starting pitchers for at least two weeks. The team placed left-hander Steven Matz on the 15-day injured list yesterday. Matz is dealing with a left lat strain that he suffered on Saturday. The 32-year-old is 4-and-7 with a 3.86 ERA in 17 starts and 25 total games this season.
