Chiefs kicker Butker out at least four games

The Chiefs will be without their starting kicker for at least the next four games. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero was the first to report that Kansas City placed Harrison Butker on injured reserve due to a knee injury. Butker will need to undergo arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. The Chiefs have signed kicker Spencer Shrader off the New York Jets practice squad to replace the three-time Super Bowl champion. Butker had made 18-of-20 field goals and 21-of-22 extra-point attempts this season.

Shrader, 25, has played in two games this season, one for the Indianapolis Colts and the other for the Jets. He went 2-for-2 on field goals and 3-for-3 on point-afters in those contests.
