Day one at Baseball’s Winter Meetings, St. Louis Cardinals President of baseball operations John Mozeliak told reporters that he is trying to trade third baseman Nolan Arenado. The Cardinals traded for Arenado from Colorado before the 2021 season. He made the NL All-Star team in each of his first three seasons with the club, but he hit just .272 with 16 home runs and 71 RBI with St. Louis in 2024.
