Evangel opens the season on Saturday, August 26, under the lights against the Kansas Wesleyan Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. The Valor will make its first road trip on Saturday, Sept. 2, against the Tabor College Bluejays in Hillsboro, Kansas, before returning home to host the Sterling College Warriors on Sept. 9, at 6:00 p.m.
After a trip to face off with the University of Saint Mary Spires on Saturday, Sept. 16, the Valor will play host to the Ottawa Braves at 6 p.m. on Sept. 23. Evangel’s final game of September features the Valor taking a trip to Kansas City, to take on the Avila Eagles, who finished 2022 ranked number 13 in the nation, on Sept. 30, at 1:00 p.m.
After Evangel’s bye week, the Valor will travel to Lindsborg, Kansas, to match up with the Bethany Swedes on Oct. 14 at 1:00 p.m. before taking on the Friends University Falcons at home on Oct. 21 for homecoming at 3:00 p.m.
The Valor will end the month of October with a road contest against the McPherson Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m., in McPherson, Kan., followed by another road game to open the month of November, facing off with the Southwestern College Moundbuilders, who were ranked 10th in the nation in the final top 25 poll, on Nov. 4 at 1:00 p.m.
Evangel will finish the regular season at home on Nov. 11 against the Bethel Threshers, who finished the 2022 season as the 14th ranked team in the nation, at 1:00 p.m. for senior day festivities.
