Fayette Falcons vs Houston Tigers Week 2

Houston welcomed the Fayette Falcons to town for their week 2 contest. Houston scored the first two touchdowns of the game, the first with about nine minutes left in the quarter. They converted both extra points making it 14-0. Fayette responded with a touchdown, but was unsuccessful on the two point conversion. Houston scored again to end the scoring for the first quarter, the extra point was blocked by Fayette. The first quarter ended with the Tigers leading 20-6.

Houston scored within the first 5 seconds of the second quarter and converted on a two point conversion making it 28-6. After a Fayette turnover, Houston drove the field and scored with about ten minutes left in the second quarter. The extra point was good, giving Houston a 35-6 advantage. The Tigers returned an interception for a touchdown, after an unsuccessful PAT, Houston lead 41-6. Houston scored once more before the end of the quarter and lead 48-6 at halftime.

Houston came out of the half leading 48-6, which allowed the turbo clock to run. If a team is leading by more than thirty-five points, the turbo clock is enabled. There was no scoring in the third quarter. Houston lead 48-6 going into the fourth quarter.

The turbo clock continued to run in the fourth quarter. Houston allowed their youth to play in the fourth quarter. They controlled the ball and clock for most of the quarter, scoring with about a minute left. The PAT was good making it 55-6. That would be the score when the clock ran. Houston won their week 2 matchup 55-6.
