SPRINGFIELD — Missouri State head football coach Bobby Petrino and his staff will be conducting walk-on tryouts for the spring 2021 season on Wednesday, Feb. 3 at Robert W. Plaster Stadium.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, advance registration is required by phone appointment only. Interested students must register by Monday, Feb. 1 by calling (417) 836-5343.
Attendees should provide a hard copy of a physical completed within the last six months (since Aug. 3, 2020); and be a full-time student enrolled in 12 or more credit hours at Missouri State University. Likewise, interested walk-ons must be free of commitments from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday for the spring semester and be within the five-year NCAA eligibility window (enrolled in college since the fall of 2016).
Everyone who attends the Feb. 3 tryout must wear a mask and bring cleats, workout gear and workout shoes to the stadium.
