The Mizzou Tigers blew the doors off of Mississippi State with an 88-61 win at Humphrey Coliseum on Saturday. The Tigers led by 14 at halftime and outscored the Bulldogs 43-30 the rest of the way. Caleb Grill had 20 points off the bench, hitting 6-of-11 from 3-point range. The Tigers shot 15-of-32 from long range while Tamar Bates finished with 14. Mizzou is in third place in the SEC at 6-and-2 in conference play and 17-and-4 overall. The Tigers visit number eight Tennessee on Wednesday. 530 pregame and a 6pm tip off all on Q94.
The Chiefs are looking to become the first team in NFL history to win three straight Super Bowl titles. Kansas City will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans on February 9th. The matchup will be a rematch of Super Bowl 57, where the Chiefs downed the Eagles 38-35 in Glendale, Arizona. Kansas City lost the most recent head-to-head contest 21-17 in a Week 11 contest during the 2023 season.
Spring Training camp is not far off, Cardinals pitchers and catchers will hold their first practice at the Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium complex on Wednesday, February 12 with the first full squad workout scheduled for Monday, February 17.
The West Plains Middle School Lady Zizzer Basketball teams; Grades 5-8th will be recognized tonight. The Lady Zizzers will play host to Rogersville in a girls high school basketball. Middle School athletes will be recognized between the JV and V games. Admission for the student athletes is FREE!
