On Saturday, May 25, 2024, the Sunrise Rotary Club will be hosting the 22nd Annual Tom Smith Sunrise Rotary Classic at the North Terra Golf Course. The golf event will start at 10 a.m. and is a 3-person scramble game. Registration is open at $225 per team. You can call 417-256-9824 to register. There will be cash prizes on all the flights. $500 at the first, $300 at the second, and $200 at the third. There are also numerous hole prizes, one of which is a 2024 Club Car Golf Cart sponsored by Clear Creek Golf Carts and Utility Vehicles. There is also going to be free food and beverages.
Under sunny skies, University of Missouri football welcomed fans back to Memorial Stadium for the Black & Gold Spring Game on Saturday, March 16. Black prevailed over gold by a 10-9 margin. Defensive back Caleb Flagg picked up defensive MVP honors after hauling in his seventh interception of the spring among other big plays while Joshua Manning earned MVP honors for the offense. He had a TD reception down the far sideline before halftime.
Willow Spring Mens Golf league will start up on Thursday May 2nd at the Thomas F Benyo Municipal Golf Course, it’s a 2 person 9 hole scramble every Thursday night First week will start up at 5pm.
