A familiar face has been tapped to helm the Grizzly Athletics department at Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP). Rachel Peterson, a former Grizzly Cheer Team member, coach and coordinator, and the university’s current director of development and annual giving, has been appointed as the new athletic director. She begins her new duties Aug. 1
The St. Louis Cardinals have announced that last night’s game against the Kansas City Royals at Busch Stadium was postponed due to inclement weather. The two teams will make up the postponed game today at 1150 pregame and a 12:45 start at Busch Stadium as part of a split doubleheader before the originally scheduled game for today with the pregame at 550 and a 645 first pitch. Zizzer baseball Head Coach James Sharp will begin his first year with the girls golf team this fall. Coach Sharp has previously coached swim, soccer, and is currently the Zizzer Baseball head coach.
