West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Softball team will host a skills camp Sept. 22-24 at the West Plains Parks and Recreation Department softball fields adjacent to the high school parking lot. The camp will showcase defensive drills, pitching fundamentals, base running, infield and outfield skills and hitting fundamentals The camp is open to first through 12th grade students. First through fourth graders will meet from 4 to 5 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23 and from 9 to 10 a.m. Sept. 24. Fifth through eighth grade students will meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23 and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Sept. 24. Ninth through 12th grade students will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 22 and 23 and 10:30 to 12:30 a.m. Sept. 24. Those who register by Sept. 19 will pay a discounted $75 camp fee. Those who register after Sept. 19 will be charged the full $100 camp fee. Registration forms can be accessed at WP.MissouriState.edu/2022FallSoftballCamp.
