The Mountain Grove boys’ basketball tournament is coming up starting on Tue Jan 23rd, #1 Hartville plays #8 Willow Springs at 4pm right after that at 530pm #4 Licking plays #5 Norwood at 7pm #2 Forsyth plays #7 Mountain Grove, and the final game Tuesday night will start at 830 with #3 Liberty playing #6 Marshfield. All four games will be broadcast on The Fox 96.9.

The Lady Zizzer Basketball Team began the race to fundraising for the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center through their annual Pink Out Game. Participants are encouraged to wear Pink Out apparel from previous years and/or pink, in support of the event. The Lady Zizzer pink out game will be played Feb 8th when the Lady Zizzers host Parkview.

 

Boy’s Liberator Tournament at Bolivar: Starts Thursday, Jan 25, 2024, Teams competing Branson – Camdenton – Helias Catholic – Republic – Strafford – Thayer – West Plains and Bolivar all games are played at Bolivar High School. Second round on Friday and finals are played on Saturday.

 


Former Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paula Wiedemann has been selected for induction to the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame with the Class of 2024.

Wiedemann, who retired after 26 years at MSU-WP, will join her fellow honorees at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony set for 1 p.m. Feb. 4 at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield.
