Grizzlies lose in overtime to Mineral Area Cardinals, 83-82

West Plains, MO. – The Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzlies hosted the Mineral Area Cardinals at the West Plains Civic Center on Wednesday night. These teams entered the game on very even grounds and the score stayed neck-and-neck throughout.

The first half of the game was a constant back and forth, with neither team gaining a large lead and ending the half tied at 33. The second half of the game was much the same, notable due to fouls caused by the Cardinals that allowed the Grizzlies to keep the score within two possessions. The second half ended with a nail-biting final minute that took the game into overtime, tied at 70.
